6 places to rent your own igloo in Lake Geneva | Parker

Thanks to the igloo, eating out is no longer a seasonal affair.

Many places in the Lemanic arc offer customers the opportunity to sit outside near a heater, with a drink or a dish of their choice, and enjoy the beauty of winter without having to freeze.

From downtown stores to resorts, people have different options when it comes to renting an igloo. Here are six.

Spend a pleasant time with friends and family for up to 90 minutes of private use in one of the largest igloos on Lake Geneva. Can hold up to 15 people.

Two igloos are available for rent. The large igloo on the lawn is not one of them.

The rental cost is $100. Includes a $50 voucher for use at any Maxwell Mansion bar on the day of rental. Possibility to reserve up to 30 days in advance. Visit the website for more details.

Available every weekend until Sunday March 27, weather permitting. Strong winds will prevent the opening of the igloos. Reservations are for 75 minute intervals. The “outdoor habitat” can accommodate a group of six people.

A $50 deposit is collected at time of booking. The deposit is then credited to the final bill, which must be at least $50.

Farmstand offers different “experiences”, which offer different menu items ranging from s’mores and fondue to the family-style pasture table. Visit the website for the full menu.

Call to reserve an igloo with a view of Lake Como. Minimum table fee $100. Reservations are for a period of 90 minutes, starting at 4 p.m.

The menu includes “igloo plates,” serving four or five people. Dishes include Mars’ famous BBQ ribs, Wagyu pub sliders, desserts and more.

Reserve a private igloo for up to eight people in the garden veranda, with exclusive igloo menu items courtesy of Crafted Italia.

90-minute time slots are available Sunday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Igloos for up to five people are available in 90-minute slots on Ember’s Terrace. Sip hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps or hot toddy with Central Standard Bourbon under Wisconsin skies. Open until March 14.

A group of six can enjoy seasonal cocktails, chef-prepared meals and more in winter igloos overlooking Lake Delavan on the Lookout Bar and Eatery patio.

Available to rent in 90-minute slots daily, from 11:00 a.m. until the last service at 8:00 p.m. Rental price $75 for up to six people, plus food and beverages.
